Please be advised that when performing a new domain search, the system may display the status “Unavailable” for certain domains (e.g., company.co.bw), even though the domain may not be registered.
This behavior is the result of a technical issue currently affecting domain availability checks within the Registry portal. The Botswana Registry is aware of the matter and is actively working on troubleshooting and resolution.
As an interim measure, clients are requested to submit their desired domain name(s) to our WhatsApp support line at 72 997 555. Our technical team will verify availability directly with the Registry and proceed with the registration on your behalf where applicable.
It is worth noting that nameserver (NS) management is currently not available via the portal. Kindly forward the NS details, clearly indicating the domain to be updated, to our WhatsApp lines or submit them through a support ticket for assistance.
